3. Humphrey Ludlow (Francis Ludlow) was baptised on 24 February 1739 at St. Catherine’s, Towersey. No further mention is made of Humphrey in the Towersey registers, but a Humphrey Ludlow (of Little Milton) was buried at at Great Haseley, Oxfordshire on 13 November 1793. It is therefore possible he moved from Towersey to Little Milton. Also, in Great Haseley, on 21 April 1783 the birth of an Elizabeth Ludlow, daughter of Humphrey (Scandal) is listed. The will of Humphrey Ludlow of Little Milton from 1794 shows a wife Elizabeth, a son Francis and five daughters Mary, Ann, Sarah, Jane and Catherine. This probably suggests that Elizabeth mentioned in the Great Haseley parish registers is of a different Humphrey Ludlow.
